1971 Ford Mustang convertable

Yellow cars have always been a tough sell. Bright yellow looks too “Lambo”. Pale yellows like this often invoke the unisex-baby-clothes feel. Add some orange, match the state DOT trucks. Add some green, invoke British police cars. Even cars that look good in pastels, 50’s Chrysler products for example, have a hard time pulling off light yellows. This mustang is different. Maybe it’s the white walls and dog dish rims. Maybe it’s the lack of  roof that keeps the color from overwhelming the body’s lines. Whatever it is, this Mustang’s paint makes it the coolest yellow car I’ve seen, save the Sonett.
